We do not email a new hot stock pick everyday and we do not day trade the stock market. If you want to own a stock for one day or one week and then dump it for a huge gain you should buy a dart board. We rarely invest in the hot new startups because they don't meet our strict investing criteria. We invest money in the same stocks you see in the VGS portfolio. We feel comfortable knowing our mothers can invest in these stocks with money they will need to retire. We invest in growth stocks that have strong dividends and are positioned for gains that will increase their earnings which should increase the price of the stocks. Sometimes there are lots of stocks that meet the investing criteria, sometimes there are not. We may add stocks to the portfolio every week or maybe only a few times a year. We only invest when all of the investing criteria is met, period.
